It’s true – they do!

Karen Shanor and Jagmeet Kanwal’s book is published by our American imprint, Totem Books, in the US on 1st September.

It’s a unique investigation into the secret, inner lives of animals that until now we could only guess at. Did you know that bats compose their own songs and babble to each other? Or that mice giggle when they are tickled? That lizards do push-ups to seduce a mate, or that elephants mimic the sounds of passing trucks to stave off loneliness?

The edition for the rest of the world is available now – see the Bats Sing, Mice Giggle website for plenty of up-to-date animal news and for much more on the book and it’s authors.
