Wednesday 27th October sees Kitty Ferguson, author of the recently published Pythagoras, talk about her book in Heffers bookshop in Cambridge.

Tickets are entirely FREE and are available from the cash desk on the ground floor of the fantastic Heffers shop on Trinity St. Here’s what they say:

‘Kitty Ferguson brilliantly evokesĀ Pythagoras‘ ancient world, showing how ideas spread in antiquity, and chronicles the incredible influence he and his followers have had on so many extraordinary people in the history of Western thought and science. Einstein said that the most incredible thing about our universe was that it was comprehensible at all. This title explains, Pythagoras had much the same idea – but 2,500 years earlier. It tells the story of Pythagoras and the Pythagoreans, whose insights transformed the ancient world.

Tickets are FREE and are available from Heffers Ground Floor cash desk.
