Nessa Carey, author of The Epigenetics Revolution, was interviewed on Radio 4’s Today programme this morning.
The book explores the incredible breakthroughs in the last few years on the ‘epigenome’ – how the cells in our bodies, despite all carrying the same DNA, develop as eyes, toes or blood vessels. It’s the most exciting part of modern biology and Carey’s book is the best explanation yet of exactly what this new understanding could mean for humanity.
