Martin Bell will be speaking alongside David Welch, Director of the Centre for the Study of Propaganda, University of Kent, historians and military experts as part of the British Library’s Propaganda: Power and Persuasion exhibition on 21st June, 6:30pm.

Martin’s talk will be on state propaganda and ‘Justifying War’: ‘Dynamic communication with the general population is essential in the lead up to, and during, periods of conflict. Effective propaganda rallies the public to a cause, bolsters military support and can be employed with devastating effect against the enemy.’
