Introducing Graphic Guide apps ‘will give you plenty of food for thought’

Six app versions of our Graphic Guides are currently available – Philosophy, Capitalism, Ethics, Postmodernism, Slavoj Žižek, and Kant (available exclusively through the free Introducing Graphic Guides bookshelf app).

The apps received a fantastic and informative review by Jen over on Bitch Buzz, an online lifestyle magazine for women, this week:

‘As with the books, the new apps take big and complex ideas and make them easier to understand. They never oversimplify or patronise readers, but they do make discovering sometimes-scary -ologies and -isms fun.

The apps are pleasurable to use, with simple tap or swipe gestures to move forward or back. The animations really enhance the comic book-style illustrations that make the Graphic Guide series so distinctive. Having the option to read the guide in “Classic View” is a nice touch for those who prefer a more conventional ebook experience.’
