Books Are My Bag is the biggest ever campaign for bookshops, launching with a Big Bookshop Party on Saturday 14th September.

We value bookshops and the enthusiasm of booksellers highly because without them, it’d be much harder for us to get our books seen! According to Books Are My Bag, ‘56% of all book buying decisions are made by consumers in a bookshop and high street bookshops (both chains and independents) still account for almost 40% of books bought by consumers.’ Earlier this year, we blogged about some of our favourite bookshops and we’re looking forward to heading to them this Saturday! Visit your favourite bookshop, join in their party, buy your books, and grab an orange Books Are My Bag tote.
