Mark Forsyth’s book The Etymologicon was the leader in Matthew Parris’ column in The Times yesterday. The Etymologicon – subtitled a circular journey through the connections between words – is published by Icon in November. The Frankfurt Book Fair – a major event in the book publishing year – starts today and, while Icon have been there every year since 1991, this is the first time we have had our own stand. And here it is last night, all ready for four days of selling our books to the world: If you’re there, please come along and say hello – we’re at stand H926 in Hall 8.

Publishing trade magazine The Bookseller run a story today about the acquisition by Icon’s sports imprint Corinthian of Family: Life, Death and Football: A Year on the Frontline with a Proper Club by Michael Calvin. Supercapitalism author Robert Reich says ‘Keynes was right’
